Canada Day in Trafalgar Square - Canada-UK charities showcase

The Canada Day London Festival was the largest Canada Day celebration outside of the country with a record breaking crowd over 100,000 in 2013. And now…. this free to enter family friendly event is being brought back to the heart of London in late June 2023 to once again establish this great celebration of everything Canada has to offer!

The Canada-UK charities will have a marquee tent on the North Terrace. Come meet our volunteers, students and Board members and learn more about our programmes and scholarships. We will have representatives from The Maple Leaf Trust, The Canada-UK Foundation, The Canada Memorial Foundation, the Canadian Centennial Scholarship Fund and the Canadian Women’s Club . We are very pleased to have support from Mercer, who have made our participation possible.

We will be available to talk about our scholarships and programmes, which range from Masters to PhD and Post-Doc on the scholarship side, and from Canada-UK schoolchildren’s workshops to Arctic education in the UK school system. In addition to the scholarships and educational programmes, we are also joined by the Canadian Women’s Club, who offer a lively programme of social and cultural activities, all run by members who enjoy the company of fellow Canadians while exploring London and its surroundings. We will be at our tent from 10 am to 6 pm, but the party in Trafalgar Square, and the live music and food trucks will be there until 11 pm on June 29. Please join us!
